A free progressive USA Cycling-sanctioned clinic series that takes riders from first time clipping in to race-ready for Chocolate City Criterium, building skills, confidence, and comfort every step of the way.
Week 1
Wednesday July 29th
Intro to Racing + Bike Handling
Bike handling, cone drills, bottle pick-ups, and cornering basics
Week 2
Wednesday august 5th
Pack Skills + Race Positioning
Pack skills, drafting, bump/touch drills, and moving up safely
Week 3
Wednesday August 12th
Race Day Simulation
Race starts, hot laps, and controlled race simulation
Packet Pickup Expo @ REI DC
Friday August 14th
Start your race weekend at our Packet Pickup Expo hosted by REI DC! This pre-race celebration brings the community together with local vendors, live music, and exclusive CCC merchandise. Racers can pick up their packets, shop gear, and soak in the festival vibe while connecting with fellow cyclists, runners, and supporters.

Saturday August 15th
Welcome to the Big Show — a day full of championship bike racing, the Legacy Loop 5K, and community experiences throughout the venue. With racing opportunities for all ages and levels — on two wheels or two feet — CCC brings together high-level competition, DC culture, and a true all-day event atmosphere.
